Nestled in the villages of Danta block in Banaskantha district and Poshina block in Sabarkantha district, this program illuminates the path towards a healthier, brighter future for the most vulnerable among us.

The Challenge: Danta and Poshina, neighboring blocks of North Gujarat, are home to a predominantly tribal population grappling with the harsh realities of poverty. In the midst of these challenges, the specter of malnourishment looms large, especially among the innocent faces of children and the nurturing hearts of mothers. Despite government initiatives, the scattered households and low levels of literacy and awareness act as barriers, preventing many from accessing vital support.

Our Response: JANPATH operates on a holistic ethos, engaging with Anganwadis, schools, and communities alike. Our dedicated team traverses rugged terrain, bridging distances to bring children from remote hamlets to Anganwadis and schools. Here, in spaces transformed into vibrant havens of learning and laughter, children find joy in education. Yet, our work extends beyond classrooms and into the very fabric of community life.

In the evenings, amidst the golden hues of dusk, we venture into the heart of villages, mobilizing children, mothers, and adolescent girls. Here, beneath the canopy of caring hands, we offer more than just sustenance; we provide nourishment for the body, mind, and soul. Through locally sourced, meticulously prepared meals, we nourish not just stomachs but dreams, planting seeds of knowledge and well-being.
